Hotpack offers 6 Floor Model General Purpose Incubators with 33 cu.ft. capacity for extensive or high volume testing requirements. All feature precision digital controls and an efficient mechanical air convection system to maintain temperature uniformity to ±0.15°C @37°C.
Standard units have a heavy gauge steel exterior with baked enamel finish and corrosion resistant stainless steel interior. On humidified models, the exterior (excluding the control console and exterior door shell) is of enamel finished stainless steel. All models come with nichrome heating elements for long life and efficient operation, single door with full peripheral neoprene gasketing, chrome hinges and a latch that closes without jarring. Four stainless steel shelves are also standard and adjustable to 19 levels at 3" increments.
Modular top-mounted controls are convenient and easy to use, with high-visibility LED digital readouts for temperature and available relative humidity and automatic decontamination. Control panel swings out to facilitate servicing.
Refrigerated Models
Models 317512, 317532, and 317583 feature a self-contained refrigeration system with air-cooled, hermetically sealed 1/3 hp compressor. These units provide an extended temperature range of 0 to 60°C (0 to 70°C for humidified Models317522, 317532).
Humidified Models
Models 317522 and 317532 ustilize an external vapor generator and solid state controls to maintain RH at preset levels from 20 to 98%, with an accuracy of ±2%. These models may also be optionally equipped with Hotpack's exclusive DECON automatic decontamination cycle to destroy most fungal spores and other vegetative bacteria that can accumulate in incubators.
Roller Apparatus Models
For applications calling for large volumes of cell cultures, Models 317592 and 317593 are designed with bottom flush to the floor and full-length viewing window, especially to accomdate Hotpack's optional roller bottle apparatus. With up to 35 roller bottle positions on seven tiers, this apparatus is mounted on casters for easy movement in and out of the incubator. Interior electrical outlet is standard.
