Pomona's Kelvin Probe Set Compatible with Hewlett-Packard, Keithley and Other Popular 4-Wire Test Instruments
Pomona Electronics announces their new Kelvin Probe Set, which offers technicians a fast and accurate means of measuring electrical resistance at levels below 1 ohm. Ideally suited for applications requiring milliohm accuracy, technicians will find the Kelvin Probe's patent pending single-tip design easier to use in dense circuitry than traditional Kelvin clips with comparable accuracy.

The single probe tip configuration allows technicians to find the test point more easily and is ideally suited for testing intricate surface mount and small, hard-to-reach components such as connectors, high-density IC devices and printed circuit modules. The notched tip design prevents slipping or sliding off the test point.

Designed for maximum versatility, the new Model 6303 Kelvin Probe Set is compatible with Hewlett-Packard's HP34401A and Keithley's 2000 Series DMMs as well as most other popular four-wire test instruments. The 6303 Probe utilizes four-wire measurement to minimize errors due to the resistance of the test leads offering users optimal measurement accuracy.

The 6303 Probe features durable, gold plated Beryllium copper probe tips and banana plugs, providing low contact resistance and improved measurement repeatability. Other outstanding features include probe over-molding of Santoprene rubber for exceptional handling comfort, added insulation protection and wire strain relief.
